Course C: Use of TUB test facilities TWIST (wireless sensor network)

[<< Back to Training Days overview]

Abstract

We will also more detailed information about possible usage of the TWIST sensor network testbed. In this course we will show how the advanced features of the TUB testbed can be accessed to conduct wireless network experiments. A session will show how to run experiments using the OMF tools. More specifically, we will show the interference generation with IEEE 802.11 devices like embedded PCs or wireless routers. We will visualize in real-time the spatial RF energy distribution in the building with TWIST sensor nodes. This will show how different parts of the testbed can work together to form an advanced wireless experiments with heterogeneous devices.
